Charmed Chain Quilt
Updated: Sep 24
The charmed chain quilt was born of the desire to work through my stash of charm squares and create a quick charm square friendly pattern.
The Baby One
All this one took was two charm packs of Kimberly Knight Tarry Town fabrics and a splash of orange to make a vibrant fun baby quilt! I added yellow binding and a pastel purple backing. The whole thing was hand tied to add texture and finished with big stitch binding.
The Throw
Of course one Ruby Star version is never enough so this one utilised Kimberly Knights Smol. I used a patterned navy grid for the chain yardage and binding and backed with a bright red solid accent fabric. The whole thing was hand quilted with an assortment of Wonderfil eleganza perle thread.
The Flipped One
This sample I decided to flip the patterns and use solids where the charm squares would be. I then picked a coordinating print for the chain aspect. I kind of love it so much I expanded the original throw version I made to a bed size!
This pattern is for personal private use only and is not for commercial resale.
